Business continuity and disaster recovery continue to be top priorities for
enterprise IT decision makers. Big or small, data storage is a critical issue
impacting every business in every market segment.
Most businesses with a critical need for highly robust data storage operate
in highly regulated sectors such as financial services, health care, and
government. Network downtime is never an option.
A survey of 80 large U.S. companies conducted by Infonetics Research last
year indicated they had an average of 501 hours of network downtime a year,
and this cost them almost 4% of their revenue totaling millions of dollars.
It's not very difficult to see that downtime directly translates into
